Chevy Concepts SEMA Auto Show 2014
The SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the coolest auto shows of the year. While it may not have the most new model reveals or unveilings, the SEMA showroom is full of bold designs, creative concepts and the latest innovations from various automakers. This year, members of the Don Wheaton staff had the opportunity to attend the SEMA Auto Show, which ran from Nov. 4 – 7. Below, you can take a look at the pictures we were able to capture of the Chevy Concepts at the SEMA Auto Show 2014.
Chevy Colorado Natique Concept
The Chevy Colorado Natique is one of the many “lifestyle” concepts from the SEMA Auto Show. Designed around the Super Air Nautique 210 wakeboarding boat, the all-new midsize pickup truck can easily tow the 4,200-pound boat along with its 1,000 pound trailer. While there are no mechanical changes to this concept, it looks great and is a creative way to showcase the Colorado’s exceptional capabilities.
Chevy Colorado Performance Concept
With the help of Motocross legend Ricky Carmichael, Chevy designed the Chevy Colorado Performance Concept with the adventurous in mind. Created to help show how the new Colorado can facilitate a go-anywhere lifestyle, the Colorado Performance Concept highlights the benefits of a midsize truck over its larger counterparts. With a specially designed cargo bed to haul bikes and a concept tailgate extender, the Chevy Colorado Performance Concept is much more than a unique exterior design.
Chevy Silverado Polaris ACE Concept
The Chevy Silverado Polaris ACE Concept was seen at the SEMA Auto Show with the new Polaris ACE single-seat off-road vehicle in its cargo bed. Based off the 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab model, the bold design and outdoors-themed styling made the Silverado Polaris ACE Concept one of the standouts at the show.
Chevy Silverado Toughnology Concept
While the Chevy Silverado Toughnology Concept was officially unveiled at the end of September, this was our first chance to lay our eyes on the beautiful pickup. Chevy designed the Toughnology concept with an eye on portraying its high-strength steel build, which is intended to make the truck lighter, stronger and more efficient than conventional carbon steel vehicles.
Chevy Tahoe and Suburban Premium Outdoors Concepts
Both the Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban SUVs were on display with Premium Outdoors Concepts. With large displacement engines and a luxury-focused mentality, both large SUVs offered cutting-edge interior commodities, including a smart flat screen TV, leather-trimmed cabins and illuminated sill plates.
