Custom Cruise Friday
If there is one trait that can connect all pickup truck owners, it’s the search for individuality. Cymber-Anne Poulin of St. Paul, Alberta was on such a search. After exhausting many other options, and getting a hot lead from her brother, Poulin made the two-hour trip to Don Wheaton. In March 2015, she worked with Don Wheaton sales professional Dario Miglioranza to take home her heavily customized 2015 GMC Sierra Double Cab. The dealership’s fleet department will customize pickup trucks for sale. From there, customers are free to commission further upgrades. Poulin took one look at the pickup and was ready to sign on the dotted line.

“I was looking for a one-of-a-kind truck,” Poulin said. “My brother called me and told me, ‘You have to come check out this truck, I think you’ll like it.’
“When I went (to Don Wheaton), I was like, ‘Oh, wow!'”
Poulin should have no trouble finding her truck in a crowded parking lot. In addition to the 2015 Sierra sitting on a 6.5-inch lift, the very unique Cayenne Metallic exterior paint scheme stands out anywhere.
“I can’t hide with this truck,” Poulin said. “I get lots of compliments.”
As though the Cayenne Metallic paint wasn’t original enough, the many gleaming chrome accents finish the job. Poulin’s truck features Fuel brand chrome wheels with body color-matching outer rims which are wrapped with Fuel Gripper M/T 35-inch tires. The front of the truck is accented with a chrome mesh grille, also from the Fuel company. The 6.5-inch lift requires giving Poulin and passengers a little help entering and exiting the truck, to this end, the Don Wheaton Fleet Department added chrome side steps.
To date, Poulin has already accumulated around 20,000 kilometers in her 2015 Sierra. However, despite the truck’s native ability to go any where she wants it go and do anything she wants it to do, Poulin takes a decidedly softer approach to her truck.
“I baby it,” she said.
Currently, Poulin is very happy with her purchase and isn’t looking down the road, as it were, to what her next truck will be.
“I plan on paying it off and keeping it,” Poulin said. “I’ll have the truck forever.”
