Popular Chevy models among tops with J.D. Power
J.D. Power and Associates are one of the biggest names in consumer advocacy. A business that has worked hard enough to be praised by the global watchdog will certainly be rewarded with success. The company has released its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. A total of six Chevy vehicles made the list. Four models, Chevy Malibu, Camaro, Equinox and Silverado HD were picked as the best vehicles in each respective segment. The Chevy Tahoe took second in the large SUV class and the Silverado placed third in the large light duty pickup truck portion of the automotive industry.
Each vehicle eligible for the J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study is tracked for a few consecutive model-years. J.D. Power tracks a number of categories checking for common problems that require attention by trained technicians. Each vehicle is then given a score within its automotive segment and ranked, thusly. The Chevy winners in this year’s dependability award started being tracked in the 2013 model-year and have be shown to exhibit the fewest issues after three years of ownership.
“Chevrolet is delivering great performance, design, technology and value across the entire vehicle lineup,” Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet said in a Chevy press release. “Being recognized by J.D. Power for having the most dependable vehicles in key segments is a tremendous honor and demonstration that Chevrolet is the brand that customers can truly count on.”
Obviously, Chevrolet and Don Wheaton don’t plan on make changes that would make any of its vehicles less reliable. Don Wheaton is very proud purveyor of Chevy vehicles as well as the rest of the domestically-offered General Motors line of cars, trucks and SUVs.
