2016 Camaro SS Convertible uses new design
With the official start of summer just a few weeks away, the unofficial new car of summer has recently arrived to the Don Wheaton Showroom. The 2016 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible is available for sale in Edmonton, AB. Buyers looking to realize a life-long dream of dropping the top and carving up the road on a sunny afternoon should briskly make their way to the Edmonton-based dealership. Don Wheaton has a three new Camaro models available, two of them are the top-end SS trim and only one is a convertible. In the unlikely event the powerful V-8 engine under the hood of the convertible sports coupe doesn’t turn enough heads, the vibrant red paint scheme should do the trick.
Why should I by the Camaro Convertible?
There are a few things that set the convertible top built into the 2016 Camaro than almost any such similar component in the automotive industry. For many years of convertible production, the raising and lowering of the top was a bit of a production. The driver had to stop the car and gently work the mechanism and hope something didn’t inexplicably bind along the way. Chevy engineers have refined rag top on the 2016 Camaro to the point where it barely needs to be touched at all.
In fact, the 2016 Camaro Convertible is one of the few vehicles of its type which can use a button on the key fob to open the top. When the roof is lowered, it’s stored beneath a hard tonneau cover which was designed to give the car a finished look.
“The 2016 Camaro coupe will set the benchmark for the segment in terms of technology, performance, and design,” Shane Peever, Chevrolet brand manager for Canada said in a press release. “Adding the most sophisticated top in the segment brings another level of refinement, and driving enjoyment, to the Camaro convertible.”
A convertible for all weather
Obviously, a drive can be spoiled by an unexpected rain storm. Obviously, the convertible top on the 2016 Chevy Camaro is built to keep the interior and its occupants dry. However, the material used in the rag top is capable of excellent heat retention properties and does an equally good job of dampening sounds trying to intrude from the outside environment.
