Release date for the 2017 Chevy Sonic Sedan
As a brand Chevrolet has come a long way toward being able to meet a potential buyers needs within just about any class in the automotive industry. Inside of the subcompact class for the automaker is the 2017 Chevy Spark. While a lot of attention has been paid to the all-new Chevy Cruze Hatchback, the Sonic was the first vehicles from the manufacturer to be offered in multiple body styles, a sedan and a subcompact hatchback. Earlier this year, the hatchback version was shown off at an event in Vancouver. People have been coming into the dealership since then and asking if a sedan version of the 2017 Chevy Sonic coming.
Design changes for the 2017 Sonic Sedan
Each Chevy model that goes through a redesign will have a few common elements with the rest of the roster. This is true of the design changes for the 2017 Chevy Sonic sedan. The automaker has redesigned the front end of the subcompact sedan to reflect the company’s global design language seen in models like the Chevy Cruze, Bolt EV and new 2017 Chevy Trax subcompact crossover SUV. Other new aesthetic offerings include four new exterior paint colors, Orange Burst Metallic, Brimstone, Cajun Red Tintcoat and later in the production schedule, Arctic Blue Metallic.
“With its trademark wheels-at-the-corners stance, the dramatic changes to the Sonic’s design give it and even sportier stance and attitude,” Justin Thompson, exterior design manager said in a press release.
