The holiday season is quickly approaching, and our team at Don Wheaton GM couldn’t be more excited. One of our favorite ways to spend some quality time outdoors once the ground turns white and the water freezes over is to head over to local ice skating rinks. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite outdoor skating rinks in Edmonton, and we hope to see you there this winter!
Castle Downs | Castle Downs Park
The Castle Downs ice rink is located in Castle Downs Park and has features like a pavilion, washrooms and an outdoor skate change area. Castle Downs Park is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, but plan ahead because the washrooms are only open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Meadows Community Recreation Outdoor Leisure Ice
The Meadows Community Recreation Outdoor Leisure Ice rink is located at Meadows Community Recreation Centre and is open from 8 a.m.-10:30 p.m. daily. Amenities include indoor washrooms, skate change rooms and free admission. Click here for Meadows Community Recreation Centre’s public skate schedule.
Victoria Park | 12130 River Valley Road
