What will the 2018 GMC Terrain offer?
We already know that the 2018 Chevy Traverse will be debuting to audiences at the North American International Auto Show next month in Detroit. We have also know that General Motors has subtly announced plans to redesign most of its crossover SUV fleet. To stoke this fire, GMC and GMC Canada Twitter accounts posted the cryptic image at the top of the page. Our best guess is that this is the first shot showing what the 2018 GMC Terrain will look like. Naturally, exact details and specifications for the 2018 Terrain will be revealed during the presentation at NAIAS, but we might be able to make a few educated guesses.
What will the 2018 Terrain will look like?
It’s very possible that the 2018 GMC Terrain will be taking on a radically new body style. GM has been on a streak in which its newest models return to dealership rosters like Don Wheaton lighter, more nimble and more efficient. This means the new Terrain crossover SUV will probably have sleeker lines with a lower curb weight and better fuel consumption scores. Additionally, the interior of the 2018 Terrain will probably continue to be among the best in its segment of the automotive industry using refined materials with a world class fit and finish.
Will the 2018 Terrain have a diesel engine?
The news that the 2018 Chevy Equinox will be sporting a diesel engine option got people fired up about the latest version of the popular crossover SUV. Since GMC and Chevy vehicles often share engine platforms and given the fact that the Equinox and Terrain share the same basic underpinnings, it is very likely that the 2018 Terrain will have diesel engine to go with whatever else is tacked on to the new model.
