“Nobody in the industry offers a broader, fresher lineup of SUVs and crossovers than Chevrolet,” Alan Batey, president of GM North America and brand chief, Global Chevrolet said in a press release. “From the all-electric Bolt EV to America’s longest-running nameplate, Suburban, we’ve got something for every customer and lifestyle.”
2018 Chevy Traverse feature information
At the center of the features of the 2018 Chevy Traverse is the innovative Chevy MyLink infotainment system. Don Wheaton customers can choose a seven- or eight-inch touchscreen which will act as the main interface with the system. From the one screen, owners can pair their smartphones using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This is also where the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot is controlled.
With the ability to be able to connect up to seven Wi-Fi enabled devices to the mobile internet connection, being able to keep those items charged is going to be important. All three rows of seats will have access to USB charging ports.
New safety systems for the 2018 Traverse
The 2017 version of the Traverse received excellent crash protection. It is more than a safe assumption that the new 2018 Chevy Traverse will continue, or more likely, improve on these scores. The new array of safety features for the 2018 Chevy Traverse will help with those safety results. Agencies that issue safety scores have changed the way the look at crash testing. They have placed a larger premium on avoiding a crash altogether. The new safety systems include:
- Surround Vision
- Lane Keep Assist
- Lane Departure Warning
- Front Pedestrian Braking
- Forward Collision Alert
- Automatic Braking
