What is the Buick Avenir package
The Buick Enclave is no longer the newest member of the brand’s roster, available at Don Wheaton, but it still remains the most capable. Despite only being around for a relatively short period, the 2018 Buick Enclave has been redesigned and is one of the first Buick vehicles to feature the new Avenir top-of-the-line trim grades. A wide-angle view of the new 2018 Enclave reveals it to be a more balanced and athletic three-row crossover SUV that also features a sleeker and more aerodynamic exterior. Some of Buick’s most popular and interesting concept vehicles played a key role in designing the new front end of the 2018 Enclave.
“Every detail of the all-new Enclave is designed to feel premium, well-crafted and integrated,” Helen Emsley, executive director of Global Buick and GMC Design said in a press release. “Customers in feedback clinics have described it as having a ‘sleek’ appearance, which isn’t typically a word associated with three-row SUVs.”
2018 Buick Enclave highlights
Even though the 2018 Buick Enclave has lower and slimmer exterior dimensions, the redesigned crossover SUV has managed to offer more interior space than the previous generation. In fact, the 2018 Enclave manages to provide more legroom than the Acura MDX, Audi Q7 and Infinity QX60. Conventional wisdom would dictate that adding additional interior space would negatively affect maneuverability. This is just another area where the new 2018 Buick Enclave defines expectations; the new premium crossover SUV coming to Don Wheaton has a tighter turning circle than its previous iteration.
Performance specs 2018 Enclave
There are still a few details about the performance capabilities of the 2018 Buick Enclave to be released. However, the automaker has made a few of the broad strokes known. The primary powertrain will feature a 3.6-liter, V-6 engine capable of producing around 300 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. In addition to featuring start/stop engine technology, the new 3.6-liter engine will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Early estimates for the towing capacity of the 2018 Enclave come in around 5,000 pounds or the equivalent of a 21-foot boat.
