Can I set my own preferences for Cadillac CUE?
In the last three to five years, Cadillac in-vehicle technology has improved exponentially. All of that experience has culminated in the latest version of the brand’s infotainment, CUE, which debuted with the mid-cycle production of the 2017 Cadillac CTS. The enhanced system will be appearing in vehicles already available in our showroom. Don Wheaton customers taking home a Cadillac vehicle with the latest CUE enhancements are in for a truly impressive experience. If a properly equipped Cadillac vehicle is used by more than one driver, each one can set their own preferences for the Cadillac CUE system.

How do I set up CUE driver profiles?
Everything the newly enhanced Cadillac CUE infotainment system is capable of doing is based on the software controlled by the vehicle’s touchscreen. Engineers from the automaker deliberately designed the system’s interface to resemble that of today’s smartphones. Testing has revealed this design choice has drastically softened the learning curve for new owners. Once profiles are established, all of the information is stored in the cloud. Eventually, when these new capabilities are available on the rest of the Cadillac fleet, owners of multiple vehicles will be able to seamlessly transfer these profiles among other Cadillac models.
Owners of Cadillac vehicles can set up these enhanced CUE profiles for each driver by accessing the “My Driver Preferences” menu and following the on-screen instructions. Owners can build upon this experience and capability by downloading and implementing the myCadillac smartphone application.
Building customized preferences
Over time, the system will learn with the driver. An opt-in, subscription-based feature in the enhanced CUE infotainment system will be able to suggest points of interest along regularly traveled routes. It will even be able to suggest alternates to various items if it predicts that obstacles or delays are to be expected.
